Commercial
interiors.
Hang, tape and finish for offices, retail and light commercial space, working with your GC and the trades on site.
Drywall that keeps
the job moving.
On a commercial job, drywall sits in the middle of the schedule. Framing and rough-ins come before it, and ceilings, paint and finishes wait on it. M & M Dry Wall hangs, tapes and finishes commercial interiors for general contractors and keeps our part of the schedule so the trades behind us can start.
Send the drawings and the scope. We price the drywall from them and tell you plainly whether the job fits our schedule.
Offices
Walls, soffits and ceilings.
Retail
Sales floors and back rooms.
Light commercial
Shops, clinics and tenant spaces.
One trade in
a full schedule.
A commercial job has a lot of people on it. We fit into your schedule and stay out of the way of the trades around us.
Coordinated with the GC
We work from your schedule and your super, and you always know where drywall stands.
Around the other trades
Electric, plumbing and HVAC are often still on site. We plan our work around theirs and keep our area clean.
Finish level to spec
Level 4 for most walls, level 5 where the spec or the lighting calls for it.
Bid from drawings
Send the drawings and the scope and we price the drywall from them.
The finish is
in the mud.
Board goes up fast on any job. Whether your walk-through is clean or a punch list full of seams comes down to the part in the middle: the tape, the coats and the sand. That is where we spend the time, so your painter gets a flat wall and the buyer never sees a joint.
Board hung tight, square and fastened right, seams staggered and kept off door and window corners, screws set just below the paper. Rush the hang and every joint taped afterward is fighting a gap.
Tape, then three coats of compound, each one wider and feathered past the last, dried and knocked down between coats. One heavy coat sanded thin is how joints end up showing through the paint.
Level 4 is the usual standard for walls getting flat paint. Where the plans call for level 5, or big windows and can lights throw light across a wall, the whole surface gets a skim coat so the painter lands on one even plane.
