Drywall in
Hillsdale, MI.

From the board to
the last coat.

Hillsdale is the county seat, just down the road from our base in Jonesville. M & M Dry Wall does drywall hang and finish, taping, texture matching, patch repair and popcorn ceiling removal for Hillsdale homes.

Whether it is a single hole behind a door or a whole addition, it gets the same process: board hung tight, joints taped, three coats of compound feathered wide and sanded flat between each.

Older homes and texture matching

Hillsdale has a lot of older houses, and older walls are rarely one uniform finish. Over the years they pick up patches, different textures from different owners, and ceilings with popcorn that dates the whole room. Matching a repair to what is already there is most of the job.

We read the existing pattern, knockdown, orange-peel or hand-troweled, and match it, then sand it flat so it takes your paint the same as the wall around it. For popcorn ceilings, the room is masked off, the popcorn is scraped down, and the ceiling is skimmed smooth or re-textured to your choice.
